June designs in New York City. His graphic design works have received lots of awards and been showcased in publications and exhibitions in the U.S., Europe and Asia.
In his earlier days in Seoul, he used to be a medical student, played a cello in an orchestra and participated in protests against dictatorship.

he also enjoys traveling to the places he's never been to.
June believes he is agnostic and it is the most humble and rational way about religion.

Boyeon was born and grew up in Seoul and now lives by the Hudson river in New Jersey with her husband and two sons.
She studied computer programming as well as programming-based design and used to work as a programmer.
However, she is so busy these days in taking care of two boys that she cannot find enough time to even open her e-mails everyday.
Boyeon likes ice creams, Korean rice cakes, Klimt’s oil paintings and Michael Mann’s 1995 film Heat and
she also enjoys traveling culturally-distinctive places like southern Europe.
Boyeon is a perfectionist and has amazingly good memory. She easily shed tears, has an acute sense of taste and is a good cook.
Kai was born on October 19th, 2006 in New Jersey as Boyeon and June’s first son and it was 20 years after his parents first met in their junior high.
Now he is Tate's big brother.
His blood type is RH A+, his horoscope is libra and his zodiac is dog.
Kai is a Hawaiian origin word that means ‘ocean’ and also has a meaning of ‘willow tree’ in native American language.
His middle name is Haon, which has a concept of “True happiness can be found in small things of everyday life.”

These days Kai goes to a preschool and sometimes surprises Mom and Dad by saying very difficult words.

Now He walks well and tries everything his brother does. He doesn't get scared of new things.

Dancing Kai

카이는 춤을 잘 춥니다. 처음에는 제 자리에서 무릎만 구부리는 수준이었는데 언젠가부터는 옆으로 스텝을 밟아가며 리듬을 탑니다. 배경음악 스타일에 맞추어 모션을 조금씩 바꾸기도 하구요.
카이의 춤실력은 몸치인 아빠를 닮은 것일 리는 없고, 엄마를 닮은 것 같습니다. 사실 Boyeon은 소싯적에 당시 한국에서 손꼽히던 나이트에서 열린 댄스컴피티션에서 입상한 화려한 경력의 소유자거든요. (제 눈으로 직접 현장에서 확인한 사실이니까 믿으셔도 됩니다. 다만 더 자세히 알려고 하면 다칩니다.)
소질만 보이는게 아니라 즐길 줄도 아는 것 같습니다. 춤추고 있을 때의 카이의 표정을 보면, 행복 그 자체입니다. 그렇다고 아무데서나, 아무 때나 추는건 아니고, 주로 집에서 (또는 익숙하고 편안한 환경에서), 대개 배경음악이 받쳐줘야 춥니다. 리드미컬한 음악이 나오면 가만히 주변을 살피며 분위기를 잡다가 몸을 흔들기 시작합니다.
춤을 출 때마다 어른들이 좋아하며 칭찬해주니까, 카이는 자기 춤에 경쟁력이 있다고 생각하는 것 같습니다. 낯선 사람들이 찾아오거나, 누군가의 관심을 라이벌—you know who—에게 빼앗길 것 같은 상황이 되면 춤을 열심히 추곤 합니다. 사람들의 시선을 자기에게 묶어두려는 듯한 의도가 다분합니다. 심지어 관객들의 박수까지 유도(?)해가며 춤을 추기도 합니다.
타고난 소질도 있고, 즐길 줄도 알고, 자신감도 있고... 이 길로 나가야 하는 걸까요? :)

소싯적에 댄스컴피티션에서 입상한 그 나이트.. 나도 알고 있는데 맞는겨? ㅋ
음악만 나오면 멈칫 서서는 흔들어 대는 조카들 보면서 참 이뻤던 기억이 나서.. Dancing Kai 좀 볼라구 들어왔더니만 그 쪽 서버 탓인지.. 내 네트웤 탓인지.. 허옇다 ㅠㅠ
그래도 춤추는 kai의 모습과, 그 모습을 바라보면 마음껏 행복해 하고 있을 칭구를 그리며..

나는 잊고 있었던 일인데 카이아빠가 난데 없이 나의 과거를 들춰내네... 우승했던 종일오빠가 보면 비웃겠다. ^^ 근데, 그러고 보니 정말 그런 시절도 있었네 그랴..
저위에 장차장님한테도 답글달았지만 가까이서 못받은 축하, 한국에 가면 다 받아낼테니 걱정마시길.(무섭지..? ㅋㅋㅋ)
